COVID Testing for Travel

For Travel

Be sure to determine what is needed for your travel destination. Here are some things to consider:

  • Time to test before travel

  • Type of test needed

  • Time of results: Do you need them before you get on the plane or can it wait?

The Teton County Health Department offers the following tests for travel screening:

  • Curative: A FREE saliva based PCR collected at one of our kiosk locations. Results are emailed to you in 2-4 days

  • Vault: A FREE at home, saliva based PCR kits. Results emailed in 2-4 days

Several types of pre-travel COVID-19 screening options are available through St. John’s Family Health and Urgent Care. If your travel destination requires:

  • Nasopharyngeal (deep nasal) PCR

  • Nasopharyngeal (deep nasal) Rapid PCR

Please call Urgent Care for more information at 307-739-8999.

If you think you need a rapid test after travel, please call the Health Department for screening at 307-732-8628 or call a Saint John’s Health Primary Care Provider.
