Public Notice - Effective July 1, 2017

All recorded documents will be filed electronically with the State of Wyoming. Book and page numbers will no longer appear on recorded documents. All recorded documents will be retrievable by document number only.

Records that We Keep

 All real property records such as deeds, mortgages, releases, covenants, and others are placed on permanent record. This office also records notary bonds as well as military discharge papers upon request. These records are open to the public.

Birth & Death Certificates

Birth certificates and death certificates are recorded at the state level by the Vital Records Division of the Wyoming Department of Health. Vital Records can be contacted by calling 307-777-7591 or go to https://health.wyo.gov/admin/vitalstatistics/.
