Planning & Building

ATTENTION!!! The Planning and Building Department is still conducting all business, but with changes because of Covid-19.

Effective Monday March 23, the Teton County Planning and Building Services Department office will be closed temporarily to the public to protect against the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). However, building permits and other planning applications are still being accepted and processed, and building inspections will still be provided until further notice. If you have questions or need information from us, please call or email and we will be happy to help you. The entrance to the County Administration Building will be locked until further notice. If you have a meeting scheduled with our staff, please contact us to make alternate arrangements.

To ensure physical distancing, public comment on applications is encouraged to be mailed or emailed prior to the public hearing at which the item is scheduled to be heard. Public comment can be sent directly to the Planner assigned to the project or emailed to or mailed to PO Box 1727 Jackson, WY 83001. Public comment can also be made by phone during Planning Commission or Board of County Commissioner public hearings.
