[ARCHIVED] Recycled Art Contest: Call for Entries

Recycled Art Contest

Artists of all ages are invited to turn trash into treasure in the Teton County Recycled Art Contest, part of this October’s Zero Waste Week and the celebration of 35 years of community recycling in Teton County.

Participants are challenged to create original works of art using recycled or discarded materials — items that might otherwise be headed for the landfill or recycling bin. Submissions will be showcased at the Recycling Center Open House & Recycled Art Show on Sunday, October 12, with judging and public voting for the People’s Choice Award that day. Finalists and selected works will be displayed again during Zero Waste Week events on Friday, October 17, at the Center for the Arts

Over $5,000 in prizes will be awarded! Entry is free and open to all. Registration is required by October 1.

Zero Waste Week programming is presented by Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling, with support from the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board and Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.
