Textile Recycling
Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling encourages the donation of quality, used clothing to local thrift shops and donation organizations. If it is more convenient at times to deliver clothing to the Recycling Center, we do accept items that are of resale quality. Please do not deposit shoes, bedding, fabric scraps, unwearable or soiled items. These materials are not turned into rags. We send them to Salt Lake City through the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program to be redistributed to thrift shops in that region. This effort is part of the Road to Zero Waste – extending the lifetime of usable material and minimizing what is sent to the landfill. Thank you for your participation!
