Shredding

Secure document destruction is available to both businesses and individuals

shredded paper

Documents can be brought to the Recycling Center located at 3270 South Adams Canyon Road, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. After paper is dropped off it is placed into bins that are locked, ensuring the public's privacy. Documents are then shredded once a week.

The rate for both businesses and individuals for shredding is $0.50 per pound. This rate is for "clean," non-contaminated shredding. If it can be recycled in the paper bin, it is considered "clean."

"Dirty" shred is available for $1.00 per pound; this includes materials that need to be shredded but can't be recycled due to material composition or contamination.
