Aqua Tots (Ages 6 months - 3 Years)
Aqua Tots introduces young children and their parents to the water in a fun, interactive way. This class focuses on water familiarity, safe entry and exit, cue words, floating, and other engaging activities.
Note: A parent or guardian must accompany the child in the pool.
Preschool Skill Development (Ages 3 - 5 years)
Our preschool program includes six progressive class levels designed to build foundational swimming skills. Small student-to-instructor ratios ensure personalized attention. Children must pass each level to advance.
Guppies (shallow water): For non-swimmers new to group lessons without a parent. Focuses on water adjustment and basic comfort in the pool.
Polliwog: For non-swimmers who are comfortable in the water. Introduces floating, kicking, and basic underwater skills.
Tadpole: Develops front and back skills, breath control, back floating for 15 seconds, and deeper water exposure.
Frog: Swims 5–10 yards with basic rhythmic breathing. Introduced to diving board jumps, standing dives, and endurance building.
Otter: Swims 15 yards and works on elementary backstroke, deep-water skills, timed floats, and treading water.
Seal: Swims 25 yards front crawl and 15 yards backstroke. Introduced to breaststroke with continued skill refinement and endurance.
Youth Swim Levels 1 - 5 (Ages 6 and up)
Designed for school-aged children, these progressive levels build on stroke development, safety skills, and endurance. Completion of the previous level is required before advancing.
Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills (Must have passed Preschool Seal Level)
Students build comfort in the water, learn to submerge fully, roll from front to back, and demonstrate basic arm and leg strokes.
Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Covers full submersion, unsupported floating and gliding, and swimming five yards using arm and leg actions. Focuses on safety and building confidence.
Level 3 - Stroke Development
Introduces side breathing, treading water, freestyle, backstroke, butterfly kick, and deep-water safety skills. Students should be comfortable swimming short distances independently.
Level 4 - Stroke Improvement
Focuses on improving all strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), surface dives, treading water, and swimming 25 yards continuously.
Level 5 - Stroke Refinement
Enhances stroke efficiency and endurance. Covers shallow dives, survival floating, race starts, and flip turns. Students will swim 50 yards continuously and perform all competitive strokes with proper technique.
