We are so excited for another great summer here at Camp Jackson! We have a lot of new programming, staff, and activities that I cannot wait to share more about.
The role as Inclusion Counselor is to support campers during their day-today activities and ensure that each child feels safe, welcomed, and understood—especially those who may benefit from additional assistance due to physical, developmental, emotional, or behavioral needs.
With help from Teton Behavior Therapy, who have provided training and support, this role was designed to model and implement inclusive practices throughout the camp day. Whether it's sensory-friendly adjustments, emotional support, or simply an encouraging presence, the Inclusion Counselor is here to help campers succeed on their own terms.
If you have questions, concerns, or information about your camper that might help us support them more effectively, we'd love to hear from you. Kendra and our team are here to make this a successful, supportive, and joyful summer for every child at Camp Jackson.
Lets make it our best summer yet!
